Move bookings from transfer account

If there are uncertainties about how to post certain transactions, you can initially post them to one of the transfer accounts (1090-1099). This allows you to assign the posting to the correct account later, once there is clarity about the posting.

How to move a posting from a transfer account to another account

• Navigate to Accounting > Bank Statement.
• Find the posting you want to move.
• Click on the three-dot icon (More menu) to the right of the corresponding posting.
• Select the option Move Posting.
• In the Destination Account field, enter the desired account to which the posting should be transferred.
• After confirmation, the posting will be in the Bank Statement of the selected account.

Notes and tips

• Use transfer accounts (1090-1099) only as a temporary solution to keep track.
• Regularly check the transfer accounts so that no postings remain there permanently.
• Document the reason for the temporary posting in case of uncertainty to ensure traceability later.
• After moving the posting, it will be correctly displayed in the target account and available for further processing.
