Disable or delete bank account
It happens that a bank account in AbaNinja needs to be changed, deactivated or deleted. In such cases, we generally recommend deactivating the bank account.
Disable or delete bank account
- A bank account can only be deleted if it has not yet been used in any document (customer, supplier) and no bookings have been made.
- Bank accounts that have already been used can only be set to inactive.
- For example, if you want to change the IBAN or ESR data, we recommend setting the existing bank account to inactive and adding a new bank account.
The reason for these points is that relationships are created through the use of the bank account on documents and bookings, which are needed for the automation of AbaNinja. If the bank information were to change completely, this could have unintended effects on your existing documents and bookings.
