With the AbaNinja release on December 10, several optimizations in the areas of document capture, accounting, and employees are available to make your workday more efficient and transparent.

New document masks

The document masks (e.g. customers - invoices) are available in a new version and can be gradually taken over per user. During the transition phase, it is possible to switch back to the previous mask, so that the transition can be made flexibly.

Benefits of the new masks

• New positions can be added directly via an icon including selection of the position type.
• When leaving the mask, a warning is given if there are still unsaved changes.
• Services in orders are consolidated, which improves the overview.
• The performance has been significantly optimized, especially with many positions.
• The new mask generation uses the same API as the public AbaNinja API, allowing for a uniform integration with third-party systems.

Account assignments

The previous account suggestions are now called account assignments and have been functionally and operationally overhauled. The configuration is significantly leaner and clearer, making it easier to set up automatic postings.

Migration to flexible chart of accounts (beta, fee-based)

It is now possible to migrate from a fixed SME chart of accounts to a flexible chart of accounts structure, even if there are already postings in the account. The function is available as "beta" in the three-point menu and is aimed at advanced users and is fee-based.
Note: After the migration, the account assignments must be generated and configured again so that the automatic posting works correctly.

Accounting inbox

If a posting cannot be made due to missing account assignments or incorrect entries, these cases are now collected centrally in the accounting inbox. The accounting inbox is accessible on the "Account Statement" page via the bell button in the upper area and shows all posting problems centrally. Problems can be solved there and then re-triggered for posting.

Employees

The UI in the employee area has been overhauled so that master data and time recording appear clearer and more modern. In addition, a field for the job title and the possibility to store an employee image are now available, which completes the personnel master data.
