AbaBridge
AbaBridge is the technical component behind the AbaNet add-on in AbaNinja. It enables fully automated, secure data exchange of electronic invoices in ZUGFeRD-XML format between AbaNinja and external systems such as banks (for eBill) or ERP solutions from partner companies.
Function of AbaBridge
- AbaBridge establishes the connection between your AbaNinja account and the central platform for sending and receiving electronic invoices.
- Invoices are transferred directly and without detours via e-mail or post as eBill to the recipient's e-banking or as e-invoice to an ERP system.
- Incoming electronic supplier invoices are also imported directly into your AbaNinja via AbaBridge and made available there.
Benefits and added value
- You automate the sending and receiving of invoices and thus minimize manual work and error sources.
- With AbaBridge, the cumbersome forwarding or importing of documents is eliminated - invoices go directly into the right process (e.g. eBill in the bank or accounting at the customer).
- Especially for companies with many partners, large customers or suppliers who want to use e-invoices (e.g. Coop), AbaBridge ensures professional, efficient and paperless processes.
Notes and tips
- AbaBridge (AbaNet) is only available with a paid subscription.
- In the paid subscriptions, a maximum of 21 documents are included. For each additional document, transaction fees of CHF 0.39 are subsequently charged.
- For use, you must make the necessary settings under the address data in AbaNinja so that the sending and receiving works correctly.
- You can store the specific AbaNet ID with the respective contact, which is essential for a smooth transmission.
- The module can only be activated or adjusted by the account owner for security reasons.

- AbaBridge is particularly suitable if you want to benefit from digital and seamless processes for invoice sending and receiving - not only for eBill, but also for many forms of modern e-invoices.
