Positions

In AbaNinja, you can insert various types of positions into your documents (e.g. quotes, orders, delivery notes, invoices). These elements can be placed anywhere, moved, or deleted. In the preview, you can always see how your document looks with the inserted elements. The use of this function is only possible with a paid subscription or an active Abacus financial accounting (AMID).

The following types of positions are available to you

• Product: Record a product or service with price, quantity, and other details.
• Group: Combine multiple positions into a logical group, e.g. for different areas of performance.
• Title: Insert a section title to make your document more clear.
• Text: Add explanatory or descriptive texts, e.g. notes on individual positions or groups.
• Subtotal: Calculate and display a subtotal for a group of positions.
• Line: Insert a visual line to separate areas in the document.
• Page break: Force a page break at a desired location in the document.

Tips and hints

• You can change the order of positions at any time by moving them.
• Using the "combine products" and "sort products" functions, you can group positions by product group, combine identical products, or sort by product number.
• In the preview, you can always see how your document looks after the adjustments.
• The function is only available with a paid subscription or an active Abacus financial accounting (AMID).
