Credit note numbering

In this section, you determine how your credit notes are automatically numbered.

  • Prefix: Enter a unique abbreviation for your credit notes (e.g. "C" for credit notes).
  • Next number: Set the number at which the next credit note starts. The number will automatically increase with each new credit note.
  • Number format: Define how many digits the number should have (e.g. 0001 four digits). The number will be filled with zeros accordingly.

In the "Preview" field, you can see directly how the next number of your credit note will look (e.g. C0001).
