Offer numbering

In this area, you can specify how your offers are automatically numbered. This ensures a clear, traceable, and unique structure for your offer numbers.

• Prefix: Enter an abbreviation that appears before each offer number (e.g. "O" for offer).
• Next number: Define with which number the next offer starts. The number will automatically increase with each new offer.
• Number format: Determine how many digits the number has (e.g. 0001 for four digits). The number will be filled with zeros accordingly.

In the "Preview" field, you can see directly how the next offer number will look (e.g. O0001).

Notes and tips

• The prefix helps you to distinguish offers from other document types.
• You can adjust the number format at any time.
• Make sure not to interrupt the numbering to ensure continuous documentation.
• After an adjustment, click "Save" to save your changes.
