Actions

Manage and control your groups flexibly and efficiently in AbaNinja using the actions in the product group overview.

The available actions for product groups can be found directly in the overview under "Products > Product Groups". In each row of the product group list, there is an action menu on the far right (marked by three dots "...").

  • Edit: Open the action menu of the desired product group and select "Edit" to adjust the description, number, language, or the associated accounting account.
  • Activities: Call up the activities view via the action menu to track all changes and actions on the product group.
  • Archive: Select "Archive" in the action menu to move an unnecessary product group to the archive. Archived groups are visible in the "Archived" tab.
  • Delete: In the action menu, you can permanently delete a product group if no products or bookings are associated with this group.
  • Restore: In the "Archived" tab, you will also find the action menu. Here you can reactivate an archived product group with "Restore" so that it appears again in the "All" tab.

Benefits

  • You always keep your product groups up to date and adapt them flexibly to new requirements.
  • By archiving, unnecessary groups are kept and can be reactivated if needed.
  • The activity overview ensures transparency and traceability of all changes.
  • Deleting ensures order and clarity by permanently removing unnecessary groups.

Hints and tips

  • The actions can always be found directly in the product group overview on the far right in the respective row.
  • Archive product groups that you currently do not need instead of deleting them. This way, you can reactivate them later if needed.
  • Deletion is only possible if no products are assigned to this group.
  • Use the search and filter function to specifically search for archived or active product groups and quickly perform corresponding actions.
  • Changes to the accounting of a product group automatically affect all associated products - check this setting if necessary.

Tip:
Give your product groups meaningful names and unique numbers. This way, you always have an overview, even with many groups, and can perform actions specifically and efficiently.
