Create product group

With the "Create product group" function, you can structure your products in an organized manner and ensure efficient management in AbaNinja.
To create a new product group, follow these steps:

• Open the "Products" menu and click on "Create product group".
• Fill in the following fields:
  • Description German: Enter the name of the product group in German (required field).
  • Description English / French / Italian: Optionally, you can enter the name in other languages to create offers and invoices in multiple languages.
  • Product group number: Assign a unique number to the product group (required field).
  • Account: Select the accounting account that will be used by default for all products in this group.
• After filling in all the desired information, click "Save" to create the product group.

• You structure your range and keep track of it even with many products.
• Grouping allows for uniform accounting and makes accounting easier.
• You can perform targeted evaluations by product group.
• This function is particularly helpful when multiple products have the same accounting category.

Hints and tips

• You can edit product groups at any time or archive them if necessary.
• Archived product groups can be found in the "Archived" tab and can be restored or permanently deleted as needed.
• Assign your products to a product group so that the accounting is automatically taken over.
• Use the multilingual feature when creating offers or invoices in different languages.
• A well-thought-out grouping makes later evaluation and management of your range easier.

Tip:
Assign clear and meaningful names and unique numbers to your product groups. This way, you can find them quickly and avoid confusion.
