Own sender address (SPF / outdated)

Emails are usually sent from AbaNinja with your company name as the sender name, the sender address noreply@abaninja.ch, and your email as the reply-to address. You can instead set up your own email address as the sender, so that your AbaNinja documents are sent with your own sender address.

Notes

• Due to increasing security standards by email providers, sending via SPF is becoming increasingly unreliable, causing emails to be marked as spam or not delivered. Therefore, it is recommended to use the SMTP server instead to ensure more reliable delivery of your documents.
• This feature is only available with a paid subscription.

Instructions

To use your own sender address, you need your own domain from any provider and must add a TXT entry with the value v=spf1 include:eu.mailgun.org ~all in your DNS settings. The process of creating the DNS entry may vary depending on the provider. You can then enter your desired sender address and check if the DNS entry has been correctly set up and is already active. It may take up to 24 hours for the entry to be activated on your domain and read by AbaNinja.
