Working Time Models

With working time models, you define how many hours per week are worked, how many vacation days per year are earned, and on which days work is performed. These models are the basis for time tracking and the automatic calculation of required hours and vacation time for your employees.

Managing working time models:
In the overview, you see all recorded models with name and description (e.g. "Standard 42/25"). You can search, edit, or delete models.

Recording a working time model

  • Click on "New working time model".
  • Enter a name and description.
  • Enter the weekly hours (e.g. 42 hours/week).
  • Enter the vacation days per year (e.g. 25).
  • Select the workdays by checking the desired weekdays (e.g. Monday to Friday).
  • Optionally, you can also enter the information in multiple languages (German, English, French, Italian).
  • Save the model with "Create".

Notes and tips

  • You can create as many working time models as you like to represent different employment relationships (e.g. part-time, full-time, special work weeks). For example, you can also create working time models for long-term employees with a higher base number of vacation days.
  • The correct recording of weekly hours and vacation days is important for the automatic calculation of required hours and vacation time.
  • Changes to existing models only affect new time entries.
  • Use the multilingual feature if your company is internationally active.

Tip:
When creating a new model, make sure that the sum of the selected workdays and the weekly hours match to avoid discrepancies in time tracking.
