Create a delivery note
To create a new delivery note, navigate to "Customers" in the menu and select the "Delivery notes" section. Then click on "Create delivery note". You will be taken to the input mask where you can enter all relevant information about the delivery note.
Heading
In the heading of the delivery note, select the desired customer. The customer data will be automatically taken over, but can be adjusted if necessary. In addition, you can enter the delivery date, delivery address and an internal reference or subject.
Positions
In the "Positions" section, add the products to be delivered. You can select items from your catalog or enter them manually. For each position, enter the quantity and, if necessary, a description. The positions can be adjusted in order by drag & drop.
Public notes, conditions and footer
Below the positions, you have the option to add public notes or special delivery conditions. These information will be displayed on the delivery note for the customer. In the footer, you can add further hints or greetings.
Comments
After the delivery note has been saved, the "Comments" section is available. Here you can enter internal comments or feedback on the delivery note. These comments are only visible to you and your team.
Actions and status
After saving, you can perform various actions, such as downloading the delivery note as a PDF, sending it by email or printing it. The status of the delivery note (e.g. "Draft", "Sent" or "Completed") is displayed and can be adjusted as needed.
Notes and tips
- You can save a delivery note as a draft and work on it later.
- Use the search function in the "Delivery notes" section to quickly find the desired document.
- Use the option to create delivery notes directly from an invoice or quote to save time. (Convert)
- Use the comment function to document important internal information about the delivery note.
- Check all details carefully before sending to avoid questions or corrections.
